WAYS WE HELP
He Saves Elder Care, Inc provides free meals to all low-income seniors. He Saves Elder Care, Inc has menus that cater to a wide variety of senior diets, including low-sodium, diabetes-friendly, heart-friendly, cancer support, and more. He Saves Elder Care, Inc allows seniors to live at home when they are no longer able to cook for themselves. We have volunteers visit each weekday, providing seniors with a hot meal, a friendly visit, and a safety check. They can even initiate an emergency response if necessary.
He Saves Transpo offers transportation for shopping, recreation, doctor's appointments, and other needs. Cost is minimal and sometimes free. Reservations are required. Finding transportation to go to the grocery store, or to visit friends, is one thing. Finding transportation to go to a doctor's appointment is another matter entirely. Showing up to these appointments, whether it be a test, a medical procedure, or just an ordinary checkup, is vital to your health. Because of this, relying on public transportation might not be the best option in medical situations that's when He Saves Elder Care, Inc steps in.
Trained, licensed and caring health care workers provide in-home service such as Homemaking & Companion. Some programs are for short term while recovering from an illness and others are more long term. Some home care aides may help with housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and doing laundry. They may also, run errands, & prepare light meals. We work with some long term medicaid manager care programs such as Sunshine Health, Humana, Aetna and Florida Community Care. Other programs are private pay.
